Obviously the last e-mail should have read 4/24/05, not 4/24/04...in the subject heading......  I guess the years do go by faster as you get older!

Then Dave Rogles, Joe Eades and Connie Alwood showed up and discovered there is not 1, but 2-UPLAND SANDPIPERS present.  Both birds were hanging out close to one another.  However they moved from the first field on the left to the first field on the right as soon as you enter the area.
 
Joe Eades just called....  He was observing 1-EARED GREBE from the causeway at Horseshoe Lake, Madison Co., IL.  The bird is in transitional plumage.
 
In my yard today:
3-Pine Siskins, guess they did not leave yet!
2-Black and White Warblers
2-Yellow Rumped Warblers
1-Palm Warbler
