While letting things air out took a quick trip through Castlewood and
Rockwood, south St. L co.
Both had NO. PARULAS.
Rockwood - Parulas at several spots up the main (only) road. (BTW, paired up
Pine siskins on the road eating grit....... Heard birds were at four spots)
Castlewood - Parula behind the Office and another at the Train Trestle.
NO Broadwings for me though.

Also.......
If any of you are out after the storms that are suppose to come through St.
Louis, don't forget to look through the shorebirds carefully.
Time for RUFFS/REEVES to be showing up in amongst the pects.
My Ruff at the old Collinsville Road Golf Course (Fairmont, IL) showed up
April 4 after a vigorous storm. Can't get to the reference books now, but
believe there are other records for this time of year as well.

Back to the grind.......:-p
