Thanks to Dan Kassabaum's directions we found the saw-whet owl roosting at the Massasauga Access at Carlyle Lake late this afternoon. It is back in the cedar trees just north of the field that is almost directly west of the parking lot. It was in a cedar just west of a cedar Dan has flagged #23. Lots of red tails, several sharp-shinned hawks and kestrels all along Highway 50.
