Yes it is true.  Many of us have gone up this winter and seen more owls
in a day than in our entire lives.  Here is a really good link:

Minnesota to see the owl influx yet.

may just have to skip a day or two of classes and find the gas money to
drive to Duluth...or at
least fantasize about it ;)
