At Bradford between 7 and 9 am I saw about 8 LeConte's sparrows (tall
grasses in two locations), numerous savannah sparrows, a dozen or so
white-crowned sparrows (brush pile), eastern and western meadowlarks
(voice), northern harrier, sharp-shinned hawk, red-tailed hawks (one
Krider's), numerous horned larks and killdeer. On the way home saw a
rough-legged hawk along the road (Ben Evans?) that forms the Western
boundary of Bradford farm near its junction with Bass Road and a Harris's
sparrow near its junction with Rangeline.

Carl Gerhardt,
Columbia
