Located my "out to breakfast" (now laminated) note and headed out for
sausage egg biscuit:

Turkey Creek Water Treatment Facility, nw of Joplin, Jasper County, had the
other end of the

mother-load of shorebirds:  25 Spotted Sandpiper and 40 Killdeer.  That's
it.

Hundreds of swallows:  Rough-wing, Tree and Barn and just a few Bank.

Also had fun watching this year's Eastern Kingbirds and Scissor-tailed
Flycatchers with their

parents I'm guessing.

Canada Goose, no Cackling, just wanted to use that new word....  No ducks.
