ILLINOIS bird info:
Posting for Dave Rogles since he got booted from Mobirds:

He found the motherload of shorebirds at Lower and Upper Stump Lakes across
from Pere Marquette State Park, Jersey co, ILLINOIS.
It appears that this area has been pumped down by IDNR (for the ducks of
course) and attracting lots of waders, shorebirds and ducks BUT it will NOT
LAST LONG because the water is disappearing quickly, it might not last to
Wednesday even.
TOO BAD that this was not know earlier.

He has not found anything unusual yet, but he said that there were hundreds
and hundreds of birds that he was viewing from Dabbs road and the boat ramp
next to the Marina.

If he finds something good, I won't tell anyone about it and just keep it to
myself. ;-)

Good shorebirding,
Charlene Malone
St. Louis co.
