Yesterday along the road to Confluence SP there were at least 500 Brown-headed Cowbirds dropping and rising from the high weeds. Nearby there were dozens of waders, four species sampling the mudflats along with one Western Sandpiper, several Semi-palmated Sandpipers and Solitarys. In Red School Road I saw several hundred Cliff Swallows using the small bits of gravel.
