A reputable birder has reported a CASSIN'S SPARROW at Taborville
Prairie, seen Saturday morning, April 17. There were many Henslow's,
Field and Grasshopper Sparrows in the vicinity.

The Cassinís Sparrow was seen a little past the corral on the north side
of the road (possibly farm road 300) that enters from the west and has
the metal corral on it.

The most notable field marks were the yellow (not buffy) marginal
coverts.

Also at Taberville Saturday on the east side of the prairie along the
north-south road, were 3 Scissor-tailed Flycatchers; 11 Greater
Prairie-chickens (10 male, 1 female) were in the prairie: and 5 Upland
Sandpipers were seen or heard.
