Primarily, we heard the single AND double nasal calls multiple times, individually, and in the presence of one another to ID these birds. Secondarily, the birds also looked smaller than your average crow (but not a key ID factor) Thanks for all the documentation info, list of sightings and caveats at IDing the birds.
