Took an early morning hike on the Sinkhole and Spring Brook trails at Rock
Bridge State Park. Had all the usual suspects with two newly arrived
singing Phoebes. Was also surprised by the three Pileated Woodpeckers on
the Spring Brook trail, and finding two more on the Sinkhole Trail. Heard
Red-shouldered Hawks calling in several different locations, and saw two
circling. Good morning to be out.
