By now I'm confused! I suppose both. By now I suppose it's not so

Thanks, Will, but I'm still not clear. Is the error
Peter's or Gandhi's
(not following Jesus)?
>Sorry -- I had meant to interact with Peter's quotation
of Christ, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." After quoting this, Peter
>"People following the truth of their lives may well
line with what Jesus was referring to without knowing it by
It could still be the Truth" and gave Gandhi as an example of this
>All I meant to do was to point out that this is a logical
impossibility if you begin with Christ's statement. If Christ is _the_ Truth,
then you can only be in line with the Truth if you are in line with Christ.
Following the truth of your lives is not the same thing as following Jesus. Or
accepting Christ and His words like this, and then adding something to that,
serves only to contradict Christ's words. This is the error I was referring to.
Anyway, sorry for the muddle.

very honorable man.

are you referring
