Yesterday morning, there was a lot of activitiy in the bubbler area. (Well, until the construction crew started working in the front yard on the sidewalk...) The following migrants were at or near the bubbler:

Ruby Crowned Kinglets (2- very active and bathing)
Golden Crowned Kinglet -1
Hermit Thrush- 4! while photographing 1 bathing, 3 were sparring over the wild grapes
Blue Headed Vireo- skimmed the pond for a sip, then perched briefly
Nashville Warbler- 1 male, actively bathing with a...
Tennesse Warbler- 1 female (accidental after 10/15 according to Robbins and Easterla)

This morning, saw a red FOX, trotting down the sidewalk, inspecting the work done yesterday! First one we've seen in a few years. A beauty, too.

More later,

Margy Terpstra
