Birders,

This weekend is the World Bird Sanctuary's open house!  It's a
great opportunity to get close looks at birds of prey from
around the world and to meet the people who rehabilitate
injured wild raptors in the St. Louis area.  There will be
educational programs and lots of fun stuff for kids to do.  See
ad below:

Fledgling Theater for Story-Tellings and Sing-A-Longs.
•Don’t miss “On The Wing” featuring free-flight demonstrations
by majestic birds and visit with “Buddy” the incredible singing
parrot.

OWLS OF THE WORLD Display and Photo Area (Wizards Welcome!)
Hobgoblins, Weavers & Tricksters: Mysteries Solved with
Detective Dipperbird.  Join Detective Dipperbird as she
unravels the unsolved mysteries of the animal kingdom!

Directions to the World Bird Sanctuary: I-44 to Hwy 141 north.
IMMEDIATELY north of I-44 is a ramp on the right to the N.
Outer Rd./ Lone Elk County Park.  Turn left onto the N. Outer
Rd.  Park in the commuter lot on the left and take the FREE
Eagle Express shuttle!  Handicap parking is available on site
but is very limited (continue past the commuter lot
approximately three miles to the Sanctuary).
