I think, Aidan, that most merely wondered if there were some motivation you had for posting the poem; had you read something about it recently?  Enjoyed it in a new way?  Noticed something peculiar within the lines?  Your subject line sounded as though the context you were providing was merely to inform us that TSE had written the poem; hence the baffled responses you received.

Perhaps even the winter weather might have spurred you to post the poem; I for one enjoy the variety of topics shared in this community.

Just the worst time of the year

For a journey, and such a long journey:

The ways deep and the weather sharp,

The very dead of winter."

And the camels galled, sore-footed, refractory,

Lying down in the melting snow.

Subject: Posting TSE's poetry

I regret that posting a poem by TSE seems to have upset Peter and Gunar.
Should I tell you about my winter instead? That seems to be a big feature of the list.
Far too chilly for me, I fear.

Aidan Harman

Do not let me hear
Of the wisdom of old, but rather of their folly,
Their fear of fear and frenzy, their fear of possession,
Of belonging to another, or to others, or to God.
The only wisdom we can hope to acquire
Is the wisdom of humility: humility is endless.

                   T S Eliot: East Coker 11
