The Byzantine Cathedral in St. Louis, which is very near the old part where they used to hold the meetings (walking distance) is stunningly beautiful and has more Byzantine mozaics than any other building in the West, according to what I was told there. For some reason I was surprised that Italian would be the specialty all the way out in the Midwest.
