Up at 5:00 and at the pond on Lindell at 6:15 this morning. No heron, but
23 wood ducks (chicks included).

On to Tower Grove Park. VERY quiet. Quite foggy. Stalked the area around
the bird garden for 90 minutes. NO Connecticut Warbler.

Walked down to the creek and did observe one Eastern Phoebe and one
Yellow-breasted Flycatcher.

Back to the bird garden. Nothing...

In the car and back to the pond on Lindell. Yellow-crowned Night-heron was
at the edge of the back side of the pond (side opposite the road)
approximately 20 feet from the east end.

Good morning birding.

Now, do we go from Troy to Horseshoe Lake???

Patrick,

Proxy Location: Troy, Missouri.
