Greetings all,

Taking a clue from St. Louis Audubon, one of our members had the temerity
to ask the manager of our arts house theater if he would donate an
evening for screening this film, with all of the proceeds going to
Burroughs Audubon. Ask, and ye shall receive... Thanks for the idea St.
Louis Audubon! Wishing you much success in your event!

Tivoli Theatre in Kansas City has generously made available to Burroughs
Audubon Society, an advance screening of the Academy Award nominated

A short description of the film:

Renowned producer Jacques Perrin (Himalaya, Microcosmos) leads a crew of
over 450 people-including seventeen pilots and fourteen
cinematographers-on a journey following a variety of bird migrations
through forty countries and each of the seven continents. From the
Eiffel Tower to Monument Valley, from the remote reaches of the Artic and
the Amazon, all manner of machines and equipment were employed to capture
images of these amazing creatures in flight. A film of staggering beauty
that reveals the ineffable wonders of the natural world of birds. Academy
Award Nominee for Best Documentary Feature.
