MISSISSIPPI KITES were seen at Prairie Slough, Lincoln/Pike co,  on Friday,
May 10 for Big Day scouting.
There were several there in August of last year as well, so would imagine
they breed up there.

Only a KING RAIL (don't know exactly where because this bird was another's
observation) two abandoned puppies and a tornado were seen on Saturday.

P.S. Yes the puppies were saved and taken to a shelter.
