The first Henslow's Sparrows were where previously reported (about a month ago), in the field to the north of the trail at the top of the hill from the parking lot. There was also several more in the field to the west of the trail reached by taking the left branch at the "Y" and going almost (within 50 yards of) to the end of the trail.

The Prairie Warblers were found in two places, at least two were in Cedars about 50 yards west of the trail near the end of the trail reached by taking the left branch at the "y". This is just beyond the second location of the Henslow's Sparrows. Another Prairie Warbler was found by going straight at the "Y" just over the crest of the hill. The warbler was just to the left of the trail.

Two Bell's Vireos were heard. One just within a few feet of the entrance and one at the first Prairie Warbler Site.

Hope the above makes some sense. Also, the Ticks were out in force today.
