SLAS/WGNSS walk got rained out at Tower Grove Park, St. L city.
Returned 11 AM when rain stopped.
Most birds seen between Gaddy Garden and Gurney Court (cul-de-sac along
Magnolia Street)
Highlights of species seen (m.ob. some birds only one person saw):
CAPE MAY w. (at least 2)
BLACKBURNIAN
BAY-BREASTED
GOLDEN-WINGED
CHEST-NUT SIDED
PALM w.
Common yellow-throated w.,
Lots of Tenns, Nashvilles
Y-T Vireo, Warb. vireo
Summer Tanager
many R-B Grosbeaks
many Orioles
Tough birding with high winds and the birds where not making themselves
"viewable". Not much singing.
