Arrived at Ten Mile Pond CA at 6:30 AM......NO
Tricolored Heron to be seen at Pool E. However did
see 2 LOGGERHEAD SHRIKES on the powerline nearby.
Determined to find the Heron...I headed to the middle
parking lot off of Hwy 102....walked all the way
across the levy and headed to the right.......and in
the very back of pool E sat about 40 egrets and 3
Little Blue Heron....and behind them all stood 1
TRICOLORED HERON....Very Cool!!
Also of note was 2 Snow Geese, 1 blue phase and 1
white......getting a little late for these two.
