A short 1.5 hour drive around the oxbows south of St Joe, proved to be worth
the trip thiseveing. The wife and son and I went to lake contrary and
horseshoe lake from 7 to 830. Seen many yellow rumped warblers and one
black&white warbler, also 2 spotted sandpipers and the other usual shore
birds.
Horseshoe proved a little better. One American Golden plover and three Snowy
plovers. Also had the first of the year Dickcissel.
Good birding
