Winter Wren
Swainson's Thrush - 1 on 4/16
White-eyed Vireo
Warbling Vireo
N. Parula
Orange-throated Warbler
Tennessee Warbler
Louisiana Waterthrush - 1 at the bubbler on 4/17
Common Yellowthroat - 1 male in bird garden on 4/17
White-throated Sparrows are numerous and vocal, and the plumage on some
is stunning
Field Sparrow
Chipping Sparrow - Jim Ziebol saw a flock of 50 at the Arsenal entrance
to the park
Dark-eyed Juncos - a few are still hanging around

There's been a robin in the bird garden that's not using its legs --
it's not clear whether it has legs.

Reports to the birdline:

Broad-winged Hawks on 4/14 and 4/15 at the World Bird Sanctuary (St.
Louis County). Heard up high above the sanctuary and seen flying low
over the trees, reported by Mike Zewoski and Wendy Amert.

Barbara Estel reported a Hooded Merganser with her 13 young at the Shaw
Nature Reserve (Franklin County) at the wetland pond on 4/17, viewable
from the observation platform.
