Re-found Josh's HENSLOW'S SPARROW at Busch CA (St. Charles co)
shorebird/Lake 33 Marsh area. Well, never did find the little #$!&?, but
definitely heard it!!
Hard to hear over the gazillion goldfinches in the area.
HOPE they don't plow/mow/burn there so to maybe give the bird(s) a chance!

None of the other marshy birds were there when I was (1 PM)
But lots of blue-winged teal, some gadwall, shovelers, one lesser
yellowlegs, one solitary sp, stiff C. goose (decoy), etc.
BTW, the pathway is a bit wet back there.

Blue-winged, yellow warblers, e. kingbirds, w-e vireo numbers growing.

Maybe some good stuff to see this weekend.

Good birding and happy holidays.
