Took the family out to REDA after work today.

(1) American Bittern at 2-Pecan Pond, bird was rather
obvious due to the lack of vegetation around the pond.

West Alton Boat Ramp:
1-Osprey.....Bird was perched in a dead tree allowing
for good looks with a scope. From the gravel boat
ramp look toward the Clark Bridge for a dead tree on
the opposite side of the lake. This is where the bird
was perched, also where Joe Eades told me he observed
the Osprey yesterday.

NO Shorebirds were to be found.
