I have been seeing 3-4 Barred Owls each morning on the way to work. These
are probably the same owls daily.

On the way home from Riverlands today, in Marion County, Missouri, I
observed a Barred Owl sitting on the paved shoulder on Highway 36 west. This
bird (appeared to sleeping). The cars wizzing by didn't disturb it in the
least.

Overcast skies @ 2:35 p.m. probably got the bird moving early and it decided
it needed to have wee bit of a nap?
