Have seen a couple flocks of flickers in the last month. One was off Deer Plains Rd, approaching the entrance to Two Rivers NWR, where the woodlot is right bordering the road. They were out in the corn stubble. The other was along Wise Rd (REDA) in a small line of saplings along one of the wet-weather ditches, across the road from the (almost always) fluddle. Never thought to try to "sex" the flock.
