The temperature was 18 degrees F this AM with overcast, gray skies.  There was very little open water in the rice pattie area where a few ducks were feeding.
80+ Mallards
3 TRUMPETER SWANS with red neck collars
3 N Pintails
22 Green-winged Teal
7 Adult Bald Eagles
9 Immature Bald Eagles
3 Red-tailed Hawks- one dark-phased
1 Rough-legged Hawk
American Tree Sparrows were feeding along the road sides.  I counted at least 240.
Other birds present were:
30 Dark-eyed Juncos
2 N Cardinals
4 Brown Creepers
4 Black-capped Chickadees
2 White-breasted Nuthatches
3 Red-bellied Woodpeckers
1 Hairy woodpecker
3 Downy Woodpeckers
3 N Flickers
20 Horned Larks
22 Am Crows
1 Blue Jay
2 N Cardinals
