Frank,

We are a bit south of that area on the NW Polk county line (Flemington) and see them occasionally. We had one here on the farm about a month ago. Yesterday I photographed an adult Bald Eagle hunting the pastures about 3-4 miles from here. I also got full-frame photos of our  resident Red-shouldered Hawk.

Subject: Truman Lake Area Eagles

I was wanting to know if there is anyone on this list from the Clinton/Warsaw/Truman Lake area? I was wanting to find out if anyone has seen any Bald Eagles around the Lake, yet. I was down birding around the lake, casually, this afternoon. Did not find any eagles. Plenty of Ring-billed Gulls and several Great Blue Herons. I did also see an immature Double-crested Commorant floating along.

Just curious if anyone has been around there, recently.

Thank you,
