While researching the purchase of a new digital camera, with which I hope to do some digiscoping of birds, I was directed to http://www.birdsofmanitoba.com/index.htm

The website contains wonderful photos, apparently taken by digiscoping, of Snowy Owls, Great Gray Owls, Hawk Owls, Boreal Owls, Short-eared Owls and apparently many other birds. The website offers many opportunities, most of which I have not yet explored. But when I went to "Species", and then to "Owls", I found the owl pix I am writing about.

The Snowy Owl pix are comparable in quality to, not better than, Jim Malone's marvelous pictures of the current Missouri Snowy Owl. But photos of several different individuals, in several different plumages, are included.

If the Manitoba web site's photos of other species are as good as those of owls, you are in for quite a treat if you browse the whole gallery.
