Trying to change the mood on MOBirds.............So I thought I would post birds I saw this weekend while pursuing another hobby of mind.  while outdoors this weekend this is what I saw.

(2) HERMIT THRUSH'S heard them singing very early morning on Saturday.....Finally saw them on Sunday. These were the two "seen", many more I believe were heard.

(2) GOLDEN CROWNED KINGLETS.......Hanging around the tree I was sitting in both days

(1) Chipping Sparrow..........with about 25 Dark Eyed Juncos

(30) Cedar Waxwings........eating the few remaining Dogwood berries

(14) Swan sp..................flew over my head..........honking....(these were not snow geese)............extremely long necks, however did not seem to be the size of the ones I am use to seeing at REDA.

(many, many) Flocks of C. Grackles moved through the area both days...........spent quite a bit of the down time looking through them for a Great-Tailed.......Never saw one.

Lots more seen...............
