I agree with Lynn,

Now Bush has carte blanche to run rampant over the environment as he has done from day one with his Secretary of the Interior (James Watt II) and his EPA chief.  Let's hope America wakes up and sees what's happening before it's to late.  He's already trying to gut the Endangered Species Act and numerous other environmental protections.

Accept my apologies too, but I'm pretty depressed about this whole election.

Subject: Great Blue Heron, election

As I was lamenting the fact that Bush will have
complete control for two years, a glimmer of hope (I
think) flew over my truck at hwy's 50 & 58
(Centerview, west of Warrensburg), a Great Blue Heron
gently flew northward.

Let us hope that this does not represent the birds
feeling towards what our leaders will do to the
environment, ie heading for Canada's safety.

Accept my apologies for the personal view.
