Hi All, Greg Gremaud of the MDC staff in the Kirksville (Northeastern, MO) area closely watched a Snow Bunting in Adair County on Saturday, Nov. 2. He left for three hours and returned with his binocs and the bird was sitting in the same spot on the road even after being flushed several times earlier in the day. It was feeding on knotweed seeds along a gravel road in the bottom of the North Fork of the Salt River eight miles ne of Kirksville. It is about 1/4 mile or so south of Highway T, just after a bridge.
