Birded Blue Springs, Jacomo and Legacy Park lake (Lee's Summit Colburn
and Blackwell Rd).
Blue Springs lake east end had a lot of hooded mergansers, 2 killdeer, 8
dc cormorants, belted kingfisher. Dam end a raft of gadwall, mallards,
ruddy, coot, and either scaup or ringnecked. A pair of common loon and
heard the call twice what a thrill that was. Also while looking at the
ducks some sort of swallow was flying around them and over the water.

Jacomo, 3 pelicans, 50 buffleheads, 2 common goldeneye, 1 ruddy, a lot
of coot,

The lake at Legacy Park had mallards and about 30 hooded mergansers.
This is a small lake and easy to see across. The place I sat was really
on a closed road but the construction people were using it.
