~ 5 PM (light fading fast. Viewed with Leica Televid Scope at 60X)
7 scoters total
6 at the end of upstream lock wall. 5 looked to be SURF SCOTERS
1 scoter closer to Riverlands Way Rd, mixed in with a group of ducks. This
one was a SURF.
All the birds were diving continuously so the one didn't get IDed.

I keep missing the Black scoters.

Plenty of birds to pick through.
Bufflehead and Red-breasted mergs were new for the season.

No Short-eared Owl seen (but didn't try too hard)
