At Eagle Bluffs CA, Boone Co., Thursday afternoon:

Several Norhtern Shovelers, Ring-necked Ducks and 4 Redheads in the
distribution channel upriver from the junction box (pump station), best
viewed from the main road (in addition to Blue-winged Teal, a few
American Wigeon and a few Gadwall.

1 Dunlin and 1 Pectoral Sandpiper on the creek side of the main road
beside water in newly flooded harvested field immediately north of Pool
10 parking area.  In the same area, but further into the stubble, were
about 20 American Pipits.

25 immature Double-crested Cormorants, very few Great Blue Herons, many
American Coots along the distribution channel.

Currently roads all but the extension of the second one-way loop are
open to vehicles.  Tim James said that they will begin to shut off areas
as of 4 or 5 p.m. tomorrow.
