I agree with Edge Wade that your dove sounds like a pale Ringed Turtle Dove. It does not sound like the typical Ringed Turtle Dove, which would not have white primaries. However, Ringed Turtle Doves are often bred to be white. (The doves that magicians pull out of hats are white Ringed Turtle Doves, as are the "peace doves" that are released at celebrations). Typical Ringed Turtle Doves are bred and released quite frequently in the Kansas City area. Yours sounds more like an escaped magician's dove or a "peace dove" that failed to make it home to the dove cote after release.
 
If you can catch it, you might see if it minds being put up your sleeve.
