Bonnie Heidy and I did a walk around, in misting rain, early this morning at Grindstone Nature Area, Columbia, Boone County. The light was terrible most of the time but we managed to see the following highlights.
 
Bay-breasted Warbler (1)
Chestnut-sided Warbler (2)
Black and White Warbler (4)
American Redstart (3)
Tennessee Warbler (1)
Northern Parula (2)
Blue-winged Warbler (1)
probable Yellow Warbler (1)
Yellow-throated Warbler (1)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (1)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (3)
Carolina Wren (8)
Black-capped Chickadee (10)
Tufted Titmice (8)
White-breasted Nuthatches (6)
Yellow-billed Cuckoo (4)
Gray Catbird (4)
Red-eyed Vireo (5)
Warbling Vireo (1)
Eastern Wood Pewee (6)
Blue Jay (5)
American Crow - several heard
 
Notable in their absence were Indigo Buntings, thrushes (except for American Robins), and any sparrow species.
