COSMIC
MEMORIAL
The Lord said, "Whereas I was only a
little angry, they contributed to the disaster." Zc

I stare at the sky –
No bombs today
–
No angel avenger.
There's no flowers
Here in the desert –
Or I'd
lay one
On the tombstone
Of Man –
For even Moonshine
And Wall have
died.
Just a flower –
From he
Who survived,
Who never lived
And
never died alone –
A cosmic flower,
Not sincere
At all, nor
heartfelt,
Due – an orphan's homage
Paid to his unknown father –
Which
nobody ever smelt,
For there isn't any here
In this calm agonising
land,
In the silent realm of sand.
