COSMIC MEMORIAL

The Lord said, "Whereas I was only a little angry, they contributed to the disaster." Zc 1,15

I stare at the sky -
No bombs today -
No angel avenger.
There's no flowers
Here in the desert -
Or I'd lay one
On the tombstone
Of Man -
For even Moonshine
And Wall have died.
Just a flower -
From he
Who survived,
Who never lived
And never died alone -
A cosmic flower,
Not sincere
At all, nor heartfelt,
Due - an orphan's homage
Paid to his unknown father -
Which nobody ever smelt,
For there isn't any here
In this calm agonising land,
In the silent realm of sand.
