There have been regular air strikes against Iraq for the past ten years. One
assumes they were pre-emptive, although declarations about Iraq's impressive
array of weapons of mass destruction suggest that those strikes
must have failed somewhere along the line.
Let's call things by their names: what is being proposed is an all-out war.
