  Wow, I got shorebird fever reading about Otter Slough and the didn't-stay-long-enough-Stint. Did you get to see it?  I'm heading to Otter Slough Friday morning..you gonna be around? I was hoping you could tell me exactly where these birds were being seen. Same fields we got Longspurs and Pipits in this past February?

Thought I would give anyone interested a heads up on conditions at
Otter Slough CA.  Good shorebird habitat is plentiful and, after speaking
with the mgr., it is my understanding that certain moist soil units are
being managed specifically for shorebirds.
