Mr. Grant, While in Glacier NP take Going-to-the-sun Highway to the Logan Pass Visitor Center (try and hit this area either very early or later in the day due to parking problems). At Logan Pass take the Hidden Lake Nature Trail (boardwalk trail for much of its length) out to the Hidden Lake overlook. You should see plenty of Gray-capped Rosy Finches on the walk out and back. I would advise taking a jacket along because weather can change very rapidly in this area.
