Congratulations, Larry, on your GREAT find! I thought my summer had finally picked up when I saw a Black-and-white Warbler a few days ago and then, , , , your Stint!

I am personally thankful for all those of you that post your sightings - some, like myself, must sometimes live the adventure through others! Your descriptions left a wonderful and vivid image in my birding mind! Thanks for sharing the opportunity you had.

Happy Birding,
Cat Foster
Polk couonty (where not much happens these days!)

I birded both sides of Lake Contrary today, July 31, from about 6:45 AM until 10:30 AM and was unable to locate the stint.  He/she probably has headed south for cooler temperatures.  I suppose there were about 15 people looking for it and if were there I feel someone would have spotted it.

Good birding to all
Larry Lade
