Brooke, all is forgiven! I feel much better today; there have been roller
hockey games all day at the YMCA next door to my house, and it is very good
to hear children playing like nothing is wrong. Such is the American
resolve. Plus, we seem to be getting more cooperation from Pakistan, so that
assuages some fear (though not much). Old Nostro might have predicted
something like this, he might not have, but he is interesting to consider
nonetheless in situations like this, but with a grain of salt. I like to
think that Eliot, before his conversion, would have thought so too. My best
to you and yours!
