but they say that excessive dope consumption leads to loss of short term
memory... ;-)
When I hear or read something I like I  read it or listen to it so many
times till I memorize it. That includes many pop songs, poems , opera arias=
,
most of the lyrics of a famous Frech bard by the name of Georges Brassens
and vast sections of 4Q. A wholly useless and futile obsession, unnerving m=
y
pals at my downtown watering hole.

with its wonderfully enigmatic last lines: 

*The eyes outlast a little while
