Hello everyone,
I guess I'd better introduce myself, too. I'll keep it brief, and you are
all cordially invited to visit my web page, where my various interests
are illustrated and linked to various other sites around the world (US,
Africa and Europe, anyway).
My interest in XXth century English literature dates from high school,
thanks to a special teacher who introduced me to some of the periods
brighter lights. TS Eliot figures heavily in some of Evelyn Waugh's life
and work, and I have been wanting to learn more about the former for some
time, especially since reading that later in life he developed a royalist
attitude.
I am a native of the Chicago area, but have lived in southern California
for ten years. Several years ago I earned a degree in History from Loyola
Marymount University, and have been engaged in non-history ever since, at
present working for a graphic design firm. I hope to continue my
education soon by pursuing a PhD in modern UK history.
My policy is Lurk and Learn, so you probably won't hear much from me. Not
until I catch up in my Elioting, anyway!
If any of you have web pages, I would enjoy visiting them, so please send
URLs!
