Have you or anyone you know been able to get access to any of your military's records from
The Defence Force here in New Zealand is claiming that all the documents
produced by its personnel during the years of Afghanistan war are
controlled by NATO (because Afghanistan deployments came under ISAF, and
ISAF was run by NATO); ie that NATO permission is required before they
have to release any documents.
I'm writing to see if anyone has had experiences that contradict this.
Have your military's documents been released to you, or an official
inquiry, or anywhere else, from when your military was part of ISAF?
