In Tuscany, near Siena, a luxurious eight-bedroom villa has just gone on the market. But this isn't just your standard sprawling Italian countryside escape - it once belonged to famed Florentine artist, Michelangelo Buonarroti.

In 1549, Michelangelo himself bought the prestigious property after having completed painting the Sistine Chapel ceiling between 1508 and 1512.
